Hong Kong Players will return to the McAuley Theatre with 3 short plays by the American playwright, screenwriter and novelist David Ives.

Funny Shorts, Three Short Plays By David Ives’, featuring ‘Time Flies’, ‘Degas C’est Moi’ and ‘Mystery at Twicknam Vicarage’.

Born in 1950, David Ives is perhaps best know for his comic one-act plays and his full-length play ‘Venus in Fur’. Well written, fast paced and always with a twist, his timeless scripts promise to make for a fantastic evening of fun!

Mystery at Twicknam Vicarage

There’s a body on the carpet and 3 outrageous suspects. Who killed Jeremy Thumpington Fffienes? Will Roger the Rector help Inspector Dexter find the too too terrible trooth?

Multiple things are revealed in this well-written story, including more than one interesting love affair!
