Pantos and plays by the community
for the community.
Hong Kong Players (HK Players) is one of Hong Kong's oldest theatre companies dating back to the time when the territory was transforming itself from a small fishing harbour to the international city we know and love today. Formerly known as The Hong Kong Amateur Dramatic Club, we staged our first Christmas Panto in 1889, and have performed almost annually ever since. HK Players has always been a community theatre company, meaning that none of our performers is a professional actor, but talented performers from within Hong Kong's own community. If you've ever been interested to try your hand at acting, or perhaps wanted to play a role behind the scenes, then read on. Hong Kong Players is here for you! To make sure you don't miss out on any of the drama, sign up for our newsletter and be first to hear about auditions, shows, workshops, and playreadings.
