What: Children’s Theatre Audition Notice
Where: Online Video Submission
When: Before Sunday 14 February 10am
The Hong Kong Players are looking for 4-5 adult actors able to workshop an original Children’s Theatre piece based around ‘The Three Pigs’. This would involve physical acting, clowning, comedy and singing. The piece will be geared to reach children under 10 years, but with modern content that adults will also respond to. We aim to film the show in the studio at the end of March to make it available online for our audience to view.
How to Audition:
1) Sign up using this Google Form
2) Submit a 1-2 minute video improvising a monologue based on any children’s book character. Animals are encouraged as there are no humans in the story. We are looking for fun, playful and physical performances. You can attach your video to the Google Form or email it to producer.hongkongplayers@gmail.com.
Auditions close on Sunday 14 February 10am.
Rehearsals:
Rehearsals will start over the Chinese New Year holiday. Rehearsal days can be negotiated between the actors.
